Arsenal have replicated a feat they last achieved in 2003 courtesy of a narrow 1-0 win against Fulham.

Leandro Trossard scored the only goal shortly before the hour mark at Craven Cottage in what was a sixth Premier League victory for the Gunners.

They will end the weekend top of the Premier League table, and are currently three points clear of Manchester City.

As it stands, Arsenal lead the title race as they aim to become league champions for the first time since 2004.

The win at Fulham has highlighted an encouraging similarity between their current side and the one that lifted the trophy 21 years ago.

Arsenal have not faced a single shot on target in back-to-back league matches, first West Ham and now Fulham.
