Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed that he is in discussions with the club regarding his future, amidst rumours linking him to the Manchester United managerial position. The Austrian has been the subject of speculation about a potential move to Old Trafford as Ruben Amorim continues to face pressure in the North West.

The ex-Eintracht Frankfurt head coach has been mentioned as a possible successor if Amorim is eventually sacked following United's inconsistent start to the season.

It was hinted that Glasner was on the list of potential candidates to take over from Amorim, but the MEN reported earlier this month that the Portuguese still has the board's support, and club insiders maintain that no replacement is being considered.

The current head coach at Old Trafford saw some of the pressure lift after their victory against Sunderland just before the international break.
