Fulham 1-3 Arsenal

Our first encounter with Fulham for 33 years came in just their fifth Premier League outing, but we needed two late goals to claim all three points and move top of the fledgling table.

Things looked to be going to plan when Freddie Ljungberg put us 1-0 ahead, but just after the break Steed Malbranque levelled to give the hosts hope. However, Thierry Henry came back to haunt his former Monaco boss Jean Tigana by putting us back in front, before Dennis Bergkamp wrapped up the points in stoppage time.
