Ryan Babel would certainly be a very cool landlord to have.

When new players arrive at any club, one of their first jobs is finding a place to live, with the Reds having plenty of stars having to do exactly that this summer.

Often players will buy a property and then rent it later down the line to family or friends, something Babel did after he departed Liverpool in 2011.

18 years on from first purchasing it, the Dutchman has revealed that he has now sold it, although he could not do so without telling some funny stories first.

In fact, there was one former teammate of his who did something in his house without permission first, meaning that whoever buys this house in Liverpool now will be in for a real surprise.

Babel was at Liverpool between 2007 and 2011, with Royston Drenthe joining Everton on loan from Real Madrid just as Babel left the Reds.
