Arsenal summer signing Cristhian Mosquera has revealed that young talent Max Dowman reminds him of Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal.

The 21-year-old Spanish defender joined the Gunners during the summer transfer window in a £13 million deal and has quickly adjusted to life in London.

Since his arrival, Mosquera has featured eight times for Arsenal across all competitions and continues to settle in well under Mikel Arteta.

The young defender, known for his calmness and maturity on the ball, has adapted swiftly to the Premier League’s demands.

Speaking to The Athletic, Mosquera could not hide his admiration for 15-year-old Max Dowman, who is regarded as one of England’s most gifted young players.

I do not mean to compare, but his style and way of playing is like Lamine Yamal. His movements are Lamine-esque,” Mosquera said.

The Spaniard explained that he was surprised by the teenager’s talent when they first met during Arsenal’s pre-season tour.
