If you asked most Everton supporters right now, the answer would be emphatic. But rewind back exactly two months ago, and the response may have been different.

Not that there was not significant excitement among Evertonians when it was announced that Jack Grealish had signed on a season-long loan from Manchester City.

But when it was reported that the agreement included an option for the Blues to buy Grealish for £50m at the end of the campaign, there was some debate over whether that represented value for money.
