Chelsea recorded a last-gasp win over Liverpool before the international break and there are high hopes at Stamford Bridge that 2025-26 could be a successful campaign for the Blues.

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has withdrawn from the Argentina camp after suffering a knee injury in training.

The South American battler has been an ever-present for the Blues this season, scoring three goals in seven Premier League outings in 2025-26.

Fernandez has also captained the side in Reece James’ absence and is a critical player for the West London outfit.

With the former Benfica man now a doubt for the upcoming trip to the City Ground, it provides a big opportunity for one of his team-mates.
