Dozens of jobs are at risk of being lost at a manufacturing site in Dundee.

STV News understands up to 40 roles at Dover Fuelling Solutions’ site at the West Pitkerro Industrial Estate in the city are at risk.

One staff member reported that jobs are potentially being cut from the factory floor, with a voluntary redundancy scheme open.

The firm is a leading provider of advanced energy dispensing equipment, building and supplying fuel dispensers and payment terminals.

As part of the Dover Corporation, headquartered in Austin, Texas, the firm has a global presence in manufacturing and technology.

The company employs more than 2,800 people across the globe, and around 350 staff in Dundee as per figures earlier this year.

The company previously axed more than 100 roles in 2019.

The site was officially opened in 1995, formerly known as Schlumberger Retail Petroleum Systems (RPS), before being acquired by Tokheim and ultimately DFS.

Celebrating the site’s 30th anniversary this July, bosses at the firm said its “success and longevity” was a testament to staff.
