Liverpool star Ibrahima Konate has been spotted making a playful dig at Arsenal's William Saliba about the Premier League title race. Reigning champions Liverpool are currently one point behind Arsenal after Arne Slot's side suffered a wobble prior to the international break.

Arsenal defender Saliba and his Liverpool counterpart, Konate, are both in France for their World Cup qualifying double-header. Although they'll need to be good team-mates for the next few days, they aren't forgetting their rivalry at club level.

Konate didn't miss the chance to have some fun at Saliba's expense in footage shared on the French national team's social media channels. The exchange began when Konate signed a photograph of himself lifting the Premier League trophy from May of this year.
