Tottenham Hotspur are expected to revisit their search for a new wide forward in 2026, but Chelsea have now entered the picture for one of the players they admired just months ago.

Last summer, Tottenham Hotspur were intent on strengthening their wide areas and had several high-profile wingers on their shortlist.

Mohammed Kudus, Bryan Mbuemo, Antoine Semenyo and Savinho were all targets for the North London side, as Thomas Frank looked to add more firepower to his attack.

In the end, Tottenham secured the £55 million signing of Kudus, a move that has proven to be an inspired one given the Ghanaian’s impressive performances this term.

Semenyo, however, remained a player Spurs were fond of, though the Bournemouth winger later penned a new deal with the Cherries until 2030, effectively cooling Tottenham’s interest.

That extension appeared to settle the matter, but the Ghanaian’s continued rise this season has brought fresh attention his way.
