AC Milan’s Strahinja Pavlovic has impressed this season and is now attracting attention from Arsenal and Chelsea.
So far in the campaign, the centre-back has featured in every Serie A game. He has one goal, but more importantly has shown his ability to carry the ball forward from the back.
Now, the 24-year-old’s performances could lead to a departure in the near future.
MilanLive report Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona are monitoring the left-sided defender.
The Serbian struggled last season but has been one of the key players for Max Allegri’s side in this campaign. The outlet claim Pavlovic has ‘thrilled’ Milan with his abilities this season. His stature is expected to grow and this can lead to the Rossoneri demanding €60-70m for him.
There is no doubt that Pavlovic is now a key player for Milan, but Chelsea and Arsenal don’t need him. The Gunners signed Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera in the summer. The Blues also signed Jorrel Hato from Ajax.
All of those players can operate as a left centre-back and are very similar to Pavlovic. This suggests the report may be a way of hyping the Milan defender.
