Luca Williams-Barnett and another Tottenham academy star have caught the eye in the Premier League 2 this month, as the club’s youth setup continues to show why the future looks increasingly bright under Thomas Frank.

Luca Williams-Barnett is one Tottenham Hotspur academy star who has been making a name for himself in the early stages of this season, with the youngster reaching several impressive milestones.

Williams-Barnett only just made his Tottenham first-team debut, coming off the bench in the North London club’s Carabao Cup encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Doncaster Rovers.

The teenager’s standout displays at the youth level and his potential to be a top player for Tottenham in the future also saw Spurs hand Williams-Barnett his first professional contract.

While he did not grab a goal in his debut for Tottenham, Williams-Barnett has been steadily making waves at Under-21 level in the Premier League 2.

The youngster, alongside Rio Kyerematen, has now been nominated for the Player of the Month award in the academy division.
