Brighton and Hove Albion and Southampton have both shown interest in Koln talent Said El Mala.

That’s according to BILD, and journalist Patrick Berger, who cover the 19-year-old today in separate pieces.

Starting with the former, they say the ‘entire Bundesliga’ knows about the Cologne talent. If they didn’t, they do after his goal against Hoffenheim recently.

That saw him beating three opponents with a ‘dream solo run’ before then smashing past goalkeeper Oliver Baumann to open the scoring. It was a clear demonstration of his talent, and something everyone is becoming aware of.

He’s a player who ‘seeks one-on-one situations’ all the time, even in training, and he couples it with ‘mercilessly effective finishing’. The question is now being asked, how long can they keep him?
