Kevin De Bruyne appeared to question Manchester United’s decision to sell Rasmus Hojlund after the pair starred in Napoli’s Champions League win over Sporting.

Hojlund scored twice, from two Kevin De Bruyne assists, as Antonio Conte’s Napoli picked up their first win of this season’s Champions League.

A De Bruyne through ball led to Napoli’s first-half opener as Hojlund raced through on goal before slotting past Sporting goalkeeper Rui Silva.

The visitors levelled just after the hour mark through Luis Suarez’s penalty but Hojlund sealed Napoli’s 2-1 win with a 79th-minute header from De Bruyne’s inviting cross.

Hojlund pointed to both the Napoli and the Champions League badge after breaking the deadlock and some fans wondered whether he was sending a message to his former club Manchester United.
