Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has posted on social media, amidst rumours linking him to the Manchester United managerial role. The heat is on for Ruben Amorim following a dismal start at Old Trafford. Despite this, Amorim still has the support of United's board, with insiders suggesting they are not currently considering replacements.

Following the 3-1 loss to Brentford, reports emerged that the club had drawn up a three-man shortlist to replace Amorim if results continue to falter. Gareth Southgate, Andoni Iraola and Oliver Glasner are said to be on that list, but several other names have also been linked with a move to United.

Zidane, the former boss of Real Madrid, has been consistently associated with a move to Old Trafford since his departure from Los Blancos in 2021.

The ex-French midfielder boasts an impressive record of 200 wins in 320 games during his tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he clinched two La Liga titles, two Supercopa de Espana, three consecutive Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups and two Club World Cups.
