BIRKENHEAD footballer Declan Drysdale has joined National League North side Marine following his departure from Prenton Park.

The 25-year-old left League Two side Tranmere Rovers in the summer and has previously represented Coventry City and Newport County.

The defender made his debut for Tranmere back in 2017 before leaving the club for Coventry in 2019.

In July 2024 Drysdale re-joined Tranmere Rovers on a one-year contract but was released in June when his contract expired after making just six appearances.
