Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Real Sociedad midfielder Brais Méndez as a potential January signing, with Thomas Frank keen to bolster his attacking options mid-season. The Spanish international has been a consistent performer in La Liga and could provide Spurs with the creativity and end product they currently lack in the final third.

Frank has made an encouraging start at Spurs, but he is not blind to the gaps in his squad.
